Pellitteri Trash & Recycling Pickup

Changes Include:~ Proper preparation shall mean all refuse is contained within 95-gallon containers provided by the Contractor, with LIDS CLOSED, and placed in an accessible curbside position, within two feet of the street and not behind or within four feet of another cart, parked car, mailbox, or other obstructions by 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday's of each week. If the container is overfilled and the lid does not close, they can refuse pick up.
~If a resident has more trash than will fit inside their 95-gallon cart for servicing, you may contract directly with Pellitteri for a second cart. The resident's annual charge for a second trash cart is currently $99.00 annually and the resident will be invoiced in advance for this additional service, this cost is subject to annual escalators in subsequent years.
~Residents that have more recyclables than what will fit inside their 95-gallon cart may place extra recyclables in a clear, plastic bag that does not exceed 32 gallons or 50 pounds provided the resident has PREPAID for the additional bag(s) in advance with the Contractor. Pre-pad extra bags must be placed next to the recycling cart.
~Recycling remains "single stream" which means that the resident will not have to separate each different recyclable commodity.
~White Goods, Tires and Large Household Items: Property owners must contact contractor prior to pick-up and prepay. Items must be at the curb or end of driveway on the scheduled pickup day and be no more than five feet from the street.
