REGISTERING TO VOTE

**Notice - Name and Address Changes**

If you changed your name or moved from an address within the Village of Arena to another address within the Village of Arena since the last time you voted, you must re-register.

 You must register to vote at the Village Clerk's Office, located in the Village Hall, during normal office hours, except on Election Days, where you must register at the polls, or you may register by mail by completing the Voter Registration Application.  A copy of your photo identification  MUST be included with the application. 

 Registration by mail closes on the 3rd Wednesday prior to any election.  After the 3rd Wednesday, you must register in the Clerk's Office.  You must be a resident at least ten (10) days prior to the election to be able to vote in the Village of Arena.  If you have not been a resident at least ten days, you must vote in the last municipality you resided in. 

Things Needed to Register

  • Proof of residency.  If your driver's license does not have your current address, please provide a bill with your current address.

  • Date of Birth

  • Driver's license number or Wisconsin Identification Number.  If you do not possess a driver's license or Wisconsin Identification Number, then you must provide the last four digits of your social security number.

  • Last Registration Address - Wisconsin Address Changes Only.  If you were registered to vote in another municipality in the State of Wisconsin, please provide that address.

 WHERE TO VOTE 

Voting at the Polls

Elections are held in the Village Hall, 345 West St..  Polls are open between the hours of 7:00 am and 8:00 pm. Be sure to have your photo identification.

 Voting Absentee

If you wish to vote absentee, you must complete an Absentee Ballot Application and send it to the Village Clerk's Office or drop it off.  You may either vote in person or  have a ballot sent to you.  You must be a registered Voter in the Village of Arena to do so.
